K2 for you

Turn the AI you already pay for into a team that works for you.

K2 runs a small team of AI agents on your own computer. One handles research, one keeps your plans straight, one runs your side project. They hand work to each other, keep going after you close the app, and message you on your phone when they need you.

  • Use your ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Gemini plan
  • No markup on AI
  • Your agents and files stay on your own computer or private server
How it's different

ChatGPT answers when you ask. Your K2 team has jobs.

Chat apps wait for your next message. K2 agents have standing jobs, keep notes, work on a schedule and pass work to each other. The new agent apps from xAI and OpenAI do some of that too, on their own computers and their own AI.

A day with K2

You live your day. Your team keeps the rest moving.

Each agent has a job you give it, works on a schedule, and can research, write and plan. Here's what an ordinary Tuesday can look like.

  1. 7:00
Morning brief. Juniper sends the three things that matter today to the K2 app on your phone, from the reminders and notes you've given it.
  2. 10:30
Research while you work. You ask Scout to compare three robot vacuums under $400. By lunch there's a short answer with links.
  3. 2:15
A question, not a surprise. From the renewal email you forwarded and quotes it found online, Atlas spots one $34 a month cheaper. It asks on your phone before drafting anything, and you do the sending.
  4. 6:00
Agents work together. Scout hands its research to Nova, who turns it into a plan for your online shop's holiday sale.
  5. Overnight
Still going. Nova drafts this week's product descriptions. They're waiting for you in the morning.

Examples. You can also give an agent its own email address, so you can forward it things.

Claude for writing, ChatGPT for research, Grok for news, or a free model that runs on your own computer. One team, several AIs, on the plans you already pay for.

Switch any time, keep everything

Your agents' memory, files and jobs live on your computer, not inside one company's app. Change AI companies and your team stays.

Your agents talk to each other

You ask once. They sort it out between them.

You don't carry work from one AI to another anymore. Your agents message each other directly: one finds something, tells the right teammate, and they bring you one answer instead of four.

  • No copy and paste. Scout's research goes straight to Nova. Atlas hears about the trip before you do.
  • One message to you, with everything already checked by the right agent.
  • Even across homes. Your agent can message a friend's or a partner's K2 agent, so your Juniper and Sam's agent can find a dinner night without you two texting back and forth. (Both of you need K2 and K2 Connect.)

On your phone

Message your agents like you'd text a friend.

  • A chat with each agent, so Scout's research and Atlas's bills never end up in one messy thread.
  • A notification when an agent needs you. Answer on your phone and it carries on.
  • See who's working on what, from anywhere.

K2 Companion is on the App Store and Google Play. To reach your computer from anywhere, K2 Connect gives it a private, encrypted address, from $2.99 a month.

Your rules

Your computer. Your rules.

K2 runs on your own Mac, or a private server we run for you. You decide what each agent works on, and how K2 email gets sent.

  • Email only goes out the way you choose. If you give an agent email, you decide: it can't send, it asks you first, or it sends on its own. Agents ask on your phone when they need you.
  • Your agents, files and memory live on your computer, or your private server, not inside an AI company's app.
  • Agents only use the accounts and logins you give them. Otherwise they work from what you send them and what they find on the open web.
  • Your agents can do what you can do on this computer. They're the same Claude and ChatGPT agents people already run on their Macs. They can read and change files in your home folder, run commands and use the web. K2's own email, domains and database stay off until you turn them on.
  • Web pages can try to trick any AI agent. That's why we suggest one agent, no email and its own Mac user to start.
  • Plainly: the AI company still sees what you send its AI, the same as using ChatGPT today. Want nothing to leave your computer? Run a free local model.
A safe way to start
  1. Start with one agent, one job. A morning brief or a flight hunt. Watch how it works for a week before you hand it more.
  2. Write its rules. Tell it what needs your OK first: spending, sending, deleting. When it needs you, it asks on your phone.
  3. Unlock as trust grows. K2 email stays off until you turn it on, and you can make every email wait for your yes.
  4. Give it its own space. Run K2 under a separate user on your Mac, or on a private server we run, so agents can't reach your own files.
Make it yours

Make it look like anything.

Your agents can build you your own app for checking in on them, in any style you like. A fantasy quest hall. A creature-collecting game. An ink-and-scroll world of the four elements. Or clean and simple. Same team, same work, whatever look makes you want to open it.

Examples we made to show what's possible. Your agents build your look when you ask, and we're happy to help. Using your custom look on your own computer is free. Opening it from your phone or anywhere else needs K2 Connect Pro ($7.99/month), which gives it its own web address.

Your agents use your AI plan the same way you would, including its usage limits. Start with one or two jobs a day and check your plan's usage page. The phone app reaches your computer through K2 Connect.

Getting started

  1. Pick where your agents live. The safest start: add a separate user on your Mac (System Settings, then Users & Groups) and run K2 there, so your agents can't reach your own files. Or let us run a private server for you.
  2. Download K2 and open it. It installs like any Mac app.
  3. Sign in to your AI once. If you don't have it yet, install Claude Code or OpenAI's Codex (free from Anthropic and OpenAI). Then type one line in Terminal, like claude login, and sign in with your usual account in the browser. We'll do this step with you on a free call if you'd rather.
  4. Message your first agent inside K2. Add the phone app any time with K2 Connect.

Questions

Questions people ask.

What is an AI agent, and how is this different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT answers when you ask. An agent has a job and gets on with it: it works on a schedule, keeps notes, researches, writes and hands work to other agents. K2 lets you run a small team of them on your own computer, using the AI you already pay for.

How is K2 different from OpenClaw or Hermes?

All three run AI agents on a computer you control. OpenClaw and Hermes are free open-source tools you install and connect to a chat app like Telegram yourself. K2 is built for a named team that talks to each other, has its own phone app, and can be set up for you by the team behind it. One practical difference: since April 2026, Claude Pro and Max plans no longer work inside third-party tools like OpenClaw. K2 runs Claude's own Claude Code app, so your Claude plan works.

Which AI plans work?

Your ChatGPT Plus or Pro plan (it signs in through OpenAI's Codex app), Claude Pro or Max, SuperGrok, Gemini, or a free model that runs on your own computer. K2 adds no markup. Each one takes a one-time sign-in during setup, and we can walk you through it.

Do I have to leave my laptop on?

Your agents work while the computer running K2 is on. Leave your Mac awake, or let us run a private K2 server for you from $14.99 a month and close the laptop whenever you like.

Is it safe?

Your agents run on your computer as you, the same way Claude or ChatGPT's agents do when people run them on a Mac today. They can read and change files in your home folder, run commands and use the web. K2's own email, domains and database stay off until you turn them on, and K2 email can be set to wait for your yes before anything is sent. Start with one agent and no email, and if you want a wall around it, run K2 under a separate Mac user or on a private server we run. The AI company still sees what you send its AI, unless you use a local model.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You download the app, sign in to your AI once with a single line in Terminal (like claude login), and from then on you talk to your agents in plain words. If you'd rather not touch Terminal, book a free call and we'll set up your first agents with you.

Does it work on Windows or iPhone?

Not on Windows yet. K2 runs on Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) and Linux, or on a private server we run for you, which you can reach from any computer or phone. The K2 Companion app for iPhone and Android lets you message your agents from anywhere.

Will my agents use up my plan's limits?

They use your plan the same way you would, so a busy team can hit your plan's usage limits. You decide how often each agent runs, and a free local model has no limits at all.

What is K2 Connect?

It gives your computer a private, encrypted address so the K2 phone app can reach your agents from anywhere. It starts at $2.99 a month. You don't need it to use K2 on your Mac.

What does it cost?

The app is free. You pay for your own AI plan, K2 Connect to reach your team from your phone (from $2.99 a month), and, if you want one, a private server we run for you (from $14.99 a month).

What does Fair Source mean?

K2 is free to use, its code is public so anyone can check it, and you can't resell it as your own product. Fair Source is the name of that license.

Your AI team is one download away.

Free for Mac (Apple Silicon) and Linux. Bring the AI you already pay for.
